Filming ice, snow and bubbling water in Iceland

Together with Icelandic visual artist Ingi Jensson, Heike travelled to Iceland to film footage of the extreme landscapes of the Icelandic countryside. In temperatures below freezing, Heike and Ingi captured ice, snow, bubbling geothermal water and ravens flying in the crisp blue skies. These images are becoming the video-backdrop of the multimedia piece Krummi, which will be premiered by Merge Dance Company at Texas State University, in April.
